AWARDS:

• The top two winning projects from the 9-12 grade division will be selected to attend Intel ISEF in May 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA (http://www.societyforscience.org/isef). 

• In addition, top students (10%) from the 6-8 grade division have the possibility of participating in the Broadcom MASTERS Program (http://www.societyforscience.org/masters).

  • High School -- certificate

• American Psychological Association

  • All -- certificate

• ASM Materials Education Foundation

  • All -- certificate and medallion

• Association for Women Geosciences

  • Female -- certificate

• Broadcom MASTERS -- Middle School Competition

  • Middle School -- Students who compete at the Cache County Science Fair will be nominated for the Broadcom MASTERS competition.  Nominees then complete the Broadcom MASTERS application and the top 300 become national semifinalists.  The top 30 students receive a trip to Washington DC.  All entries receive a t-shirt and a $10 gift card for Walmart.

• Intel Excellence in Computer Science

  • High School -- certificate and money

• Mu Alpha Theta

  • High School -- certificate

• National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

  • All -- certificate and medallion

• National Society of Professional Engineers

  • 7th - 12th grade -- certificate and lapel pin (possibility of $1000 award with future competition)

• Ricoh Americas Corporation

  • All -- certificate

• Society for In Vitro Biology

  • 11th grade -- certificate

• Stockholm Junior Water Prize

  • High School -- certificates (with future competitions to enter for additional prizes)

• U.S. Air Force

  • All -- Certificate, Victory Sport Bag, Sonic Sound Speaker, and Junior Tech Organizer

• U.S. Army

  • High School -- five category winners win a certificate of achievement, a presentation folder, and a tangible award.

• U.S. Metric Association

  • High School -- certificate

• U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps

  • High School -- certificate of achievement, medallion, and an award letter (with a $50 gift certificate)

  • Middle School -- certificate of achievement and medallion

• Yale Science and Engineering Association

  • 11th grade -- certificate and pewter medallion
